To increase delegate accessibility, this meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting with both in person and virtual attendance options.

City Council meetings are live-streamed at @CityOfCambridgeOn/streams. Should any virtual public members encounter issues or interruptions with the live stream, the meeting will proceed as planned, and public members may join the meeting in person by visiting Council Chambers at 46 Dickson Street, 3rd Floor, Cambridge, ON, N1R 1T7.

Closed Session will occur at 5:30 p.m.

Register to appear as a delegation by visiting: https://forms.cambridge.ca/Delegation-RequestForm. Members of the public can choose to delegate in-person or by telephone. Alternative formats and communication supports are available upon request.

Members of the public wishing to speak at Council may complete the Delegation Request Form no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting for Council Meetings occurring at 6:30 p.m.

All written delegation submissions will form part of the public record.


THAT in accordance with section 239 (2) (c) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Council to convene in Closed Session  to consider the following subject matter:


(c)  a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (Confidential Negotiations)

The Consent Agenda groups reports together that are of a routine nature and provides opportunity to vote on one motion rather than separate motions. However, Staff may not be in attendance to respond to queries on items contained in the Consent Agenda. Council Members wishing to pull an item from Consent Procedure should notify the City Clerk. Members will also have the opportunity to pull the item at the Meeting.

THAT the following by-law listed under the heading of Introduction and Consideration of By-laws be enacted and passed:

  • 26-009 - Being a by-law to Designate the Property known as 4860 Townline Road, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act    
  • 26-010 - Being a by-law to Designate the Property known as 119 Wellington Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act      
  • 26-011 - Being a by-law to  Designate the Property known as 70 Oak Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-012 - Being a by-law to Designate the Property known as 194 Blue Heron, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-013 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 469 Duke Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-014 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 54 Bruce Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-015 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 8 Crescent Place, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-016 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 154 Eagle Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-017 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 156 Eagle Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-018 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 7 McAuslan  Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-019 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 135 George  Street N, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-020 - Being a By-law to Designate the Property known as 145 George  Street N, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-021 - Being a By-law to prescribe the standards for maintenance and occupancy for all properties within the City of Cambridge and to repeal By-laws 181-04, 44-17 and 184-04
  • 26-022 - Being a By-law to provide for the maintenance of land in the City of Cambridge; and repeal By-laws 189-13, 043-17, 100-17 and 21-06
  • 26-023 - Being a By-law to amend Schedule B of By-law 23-050 establishing an Administrative Penalty System for violations
  • 26-024 - Being a By-law to amend the Business License By-Laws 142-16 and 19-015 
  • 26-025 - Being a by-law to amend the Business License By-Law 173-16 and 19-016
  • 26-026 - Being a By-law  to Designate the property known as 25 Oak Street, as being of Cultural and Heritage Value or Interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
  • 26-027 - Being a By-law to provide for the remuneration of Mayor and Members of Council
