The meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Cambridge is held in Council Chambers and is live streamed to the City of Cambridge website. Mayor Liggett welcomes everyone present and calls the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.

    That in accordance with section 239 (2) (c), (e), (f) and (k) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Council to convene in Closed Session at 5:32 p.m. to consider the following subject matters:

    (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (Confidential Update re: Potential Land Acquisition);

    (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Confidential Litigation Update);

    (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (Confidential Litigation Update);

    (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board (Confidential Litigation Update).

    AND FURTHER THAT Council authorized the Clerk to publish a Notice of Intention to Designate (NOID) the stone residence on the property located at 156 Beverly Street in accordance with Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act for its cultural heritage value.

    AND FURTHER THAT the Clerk be authorized to publish a Notice of Intention to Designate (NOID) for the property municipally known as 252 Dundas Street North in accordance with Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act because of its cultural heritage value.
